Propane (C3H8) – a colorless, flammable, liquefied gas. Pure propane is odorless so like natural gas it has Ethyl Mercaptan added which gives it its distinctive “smell”.
Common uses of Propane?
Propane is primarily used in heating applications and as fork truck fuel. Propane is also used in heavy steel fabrication for heating and cutting.

Propane normally is a liquid in cylinders. Propane cylinder pressure will generally remain constant until the liquid is gone and then it drops quickly.
