Gas Welding (Brazing) Equipment

Gas welding equipment consists of necessary items such as hoses, torches, flowmeters, regulators and tips. A torch is used for joining metal parts using a flame produced by burning gas. The tip is the end of the head tube and combustion takes place where it opens. Regulators are devices that reduce the high pressure of the cyclinder tank to working pressure. It regulates consistently the flow of gas from the tank to the torch. Since conventional regulators do not provide a measure of gas flow, flow meters are attached to the torches.
