John Surra of Olean, NY, built this piece and it is now located in Lincoln Park in Olean, NY.

 The piece is 76"high by 48"wide by 4"deep.  It is constructed of 304L stainless steel using a Lincoln Power Mig 200, with 308Lsi wire that was donated by Lincoln Electric.  I finally realized that I have been using the weld bead as a paintbrush.  The power and feed controls allow me to adjust what the bead looks like and how it appears on the surface of the sculpture.
